The Goon volume 0

I have to say I love this comic. I looked for Goon stuff in the library after reading him in the Myspace Darkhorse Presents comic. So I grabbed it knowing I was already going to love it, not the most unbiased way to review, o well.
The stories are fun, very strange and, the best part for me, you do not know what is going to happen next.
Goon is a big guy, he keeps the Zombie Priest's zombie crew off his patch. They seem to be rival crime mobs, and the only thing stopping the zombies from winning is the Goon. This is only a rough outline because all that does not seem to matter, what matters his that the Goon gets things done, where ever he goes. It is all extremely silly stuff.
This volume comes with a glimpse into how to the Goon got created, Powell shows some images and notes at the back. Its nice to know that characters do not just pop into being, and if you plug at it long enough sometimes you can make something cool from a bad idea.
I really find it hard to describe the Goon, it is unique, he just gets through any scrape. This sort of fun is great

  1. I'll think you'll find Goon is a pseudonym For Rocko, North London's greatest.
